Last updated: 30 September 2026 • Compliant with UK PECR & GDPR

1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Insaltix Ltd (Company Registration No. 17123911, registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, contact: hello@insaltix.com) uses cookies and browser local storage on distl.app.

We comply with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations ("PECR") and the UK GDPR.

2. No Advertising or Tracking Cookies

Distl does not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking scripts.

We do not track your activity across other websites, and we never sell, share, or broker your browsing data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Essential Storage Technologies Only

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage required for Distl to operate securely and function as requested (exempt from consent requirements under Regulation 6(4) of PECR):

  • Authentication & Security: Secure cryptographic tokens and session cookies to keep you signed in, manage API requests, and defend against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and bot attacks.
  • User Interface Preferences: Browser local storage to remember your chosen appearance theme (light or dark mode) and compact layout preferences on your device.
  • Checkout & Billing Security: Necessary session storage utilized by our payment gateway (Stripe) to secure subscription transactions and detect fraudulent payment attempts.

4. Cookieless Web Measurement & Right to Object

Distl measures aggregate public website traffic, referral sources, and page popularity using privacy-preserving cookieless telemetry. Under our default configuration, all storage technologies (cookies, persistent local storage IDs) for analytics, advertising, and personalisation are strictly denied.

This aggregate measurement relies on our legitimate interest in understanding how visitors discover and use our public marketing site without tracking individuals across other websites or building individual profiles.

In accordance with UK PECR and UK GDPR Article 21, you may object to and completely disable this aggregate cookieless telemetry at any time using the control below:

However, because Distl exclusively uses strictly necessary storage technologies for authentication and session integrity, blocking local storage will prevent you from signing in and using the application.
